Ins and Outs.

Hans Ibold

In these less-than-robust times as priorities change, not coming in first and getting money from your folks don't seem all that bad

FORECASTING

IN: Conservative projections

OUT: Mind-blowing projections from research firms

How many times have research firms projected that some technology sector will be worth $50 billion or more by 2005? Enough to know that they're usually dead wrong and that a start-up basing its revenue growth on those projections is foolish.
