Inpex Launches Natural Gas Production in Indonesia.

Tokyo, Japan, Sept 14, 2005 - (JCNN) - Inpex announced on September 7 that it had begun producing natural gas in the APN gas field in the northwest coast of Java in the Republic of Indonesia on August 17. The gas field has a daily crude oil equivalent production capacity of 18,000 barrels.

Northwest Java Coast Mine Concession Constructor has been supplying gas to local utility companies. The production launch is expected to help stabilize the supply of gas. By 2007, the field will be able to produce three times as much gas as today.
