Inovise Medical Announces Agreement with Delphi Medical Systems for Vital Signs Monitors.

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Inovise Medical announced today during the Society of Chest Pain Centers Conference being held in Orlando, FL that it has signed a worldwide licensing agreement with Delphi Medical Systems, a subsidiary of Delphi Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, Delphi Medical Systems will manufacture and distribute vital signs monitors with AUDICOR(R) software and sensor technology integrated into its user-friendly devices. This agreement marks a major milestone in Inovise Medical's strategy for making AUDICOR(R) a standard of care for diagnosing and monitoring heart failure and other high-risk cardiac conditions.

Nearly 5 million patients in the US live with heart failure, with 550,000 new cases reported each year. Heart failure is the underlying cause for 12 to 15 million office visits and 6.5 million hospital days each year, and represents the most expensive disease for the US health care system. By partnering with Delphi Medical Systems, Inovise Medical's AUDICOR(R) technology will play a significant role in the trend towards managing these patients outside the hospital, in lower cost clinic settings, and even in the patient's home, helping to reduce overall costs and improve the entire continuum of care for millions of heart failure patients.

"We are very excited to have Delphi Medical Systems integrate and market our AUDICOR(R) technology in its monitors," said Patti White, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Inovise Medical. "This partnership represents a natural progression for AUDICOR(R), from the diagnosis of heart failure and other high-risk cardiac diseases, to helping clinicians better monitor and manage these patients. Delphi Medical Systems' technical, manufacturing, distribution, and marketing expertise in the vital signs monitoring market will help contribute to AUDICOR(R)'s success in this market."

"Heart failure is a major and growing problem for the health care system," commented Christophe Sevrain, Managing Director of Delphi Medical Systems. "By adding AUDICOR(R) to our vital signs monitors, we will be able to offer a valuable cardiac monitoring function that enables clinicians to better manage their heart failure patients."
