Innovatix, LLC Engages Experts to Support New Preferred Provider Program.

NEW YORK -- Innovatix is pleased to announce that David Florman, Richard Zeitoun, and Susan Newman have been engaged by Innovatix to support the new Preferred Provider Program (PPP). The program is designed to assist long term care providers, long term care dispensing pharmacies and home infusion providers with the immediate challenges of implementation and contract negotiations required with Prescription Drug Plans (PDPs) as outlined in Part D of the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement and Modernization Act of 2003.

David Florman brings 30 years of broad professional experience in the health care industry to the program. On the provider side, he has held key executive positions with community hospitals and academic medical centers, while on the payor side he has worked with regional and national managed care organizations. In his new role with Innovatix, Florman will be responsible for program development, contract negotiations, network management, medical cost control, and regulatory affairs.

Richard Zeitoun has over 35 years of active involvement with long term care. As a Registered Pharmacist, his experience includes both vendor pharmacy services and in-house pharmacy services. Zeitoun is also a licensed nursing home administrator and has over 10 years of experience as a Vice President of Operations/Administrator at a 386 bed voluntary, not-for-profit nursing facility in New York City. In his role with the Innovatix Preferred Provider Program, he will be researching and evaluating the prescription drug plan needs in the long term care provider market and developing new tools for administrative implementation of the Medicare Part D for leadership in the nursing home market and in general, members of the program.

Overseeing the implementation and scheduling of the entire initiative, Susan Newman brings 25 years of financial and operational consulting and project management to Innovatix. She has worked extensively with companies facing industry challenges and regulatory complexities. "Over the next six months, our timeliness and attention to detail will be critical to the success of the Preferred Provider Program," said Newman. "I'm proud to be a part of this team, representing the concerns and challenges of long term care providers nationwide as we move forward under the new Medicare Rule."
