LOS ANGELES -- Innovative Card Technologies, Inc. (OTCBB:INVC), developers of the breakthrough ICT DisplayCard security device for e-banking, e-commerce and data access, today announced that Timothy Wright, 43, will join the company as vice president of sales. Wright was previously vice president of banking & retail at Gemalto, a leader in digital security and the world's largest provider of smart cards and services.

In his position at Gemalto, Wright oversaw payment card business activities for all of North America. His extensive sales career includes serving as the vice president of sales for De La Rue Protection in Dulles, VA, USA; manager of sales & marketing for secure card products for Dainippon Ink & Chemicals in Fort Lee, NJ, USA; and manager of the International Department at Takachiho Technica in Tokyo, Japan.

Throughout his 20-plus year career, Wright has achieved a strong track record of piloting explosive sales growth in vendors of payment cards, smart cards, and payment card security. He has extensive international business experience, and his educational background includes a masters of law degree from Niigata University in Niigata, Japan. He sits on the Board of Directors at International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA), is a member of the National Committee of Information Technology Standards (NCITS), and is an International Organization for Standardization (ISO) delegate.
