InnoMediaLogic Announces a New Software Development Toolkit That Dramatically Reduces Application Development Time.

Software Development Kit

InnoMediaLogic Inc., the manufacturer of the award winning ArTeMux TDM/ATM bridging technology, today announced the availability of the industry's first TDM (Time Division Multiplexing) A technology that transmits multiple signals simultaneously over a single transmission path. Each lower-speed signal is time sliced into one high-speed transmission.  to ATM multi-chassis middleware connection software. Until now, OEMs and system integrators had to spend months developing the software modules required to implement and manage all of the inter-chassis communication links and paths. The new AMACS SDK (Software Developer's Kit) See developer's toolkit and Windows SDK.

SDK - Software Developers Kit (or "Software Development Kit").
allows one to quickly and easily assemble a multi-chassis telephony system without having to understand all of the intricacies of the underlying ATM infrastructure.

The AMACS SDK is a software layer that runs on top of the ArTeMux application programming interface (API (Application Programming Interface) A language and message format used by an application program to communicate with the operating system or some other control program such as a database management system (DBMS) or communications protocol. ). AMACS is specifically designed to implement Computer Telephony See CTI, VoIP and IP telephony.

systems ranging in capacity from 1,000 to over 100,000 ports and interconnecting between 4 to 200 CT chassis. AMACS is offered in source code so system integrators can modify it and adapt it as required to suit their particular needs.

AMACS is designed to support a redundant and fault-tolerant architecture. AMACS's single hierarchical level model has one overriding advantage. Because it uses a peer-to-peer control architecture model where each chassis deals directly with all of its peers, the damage caused by the failure of a chassis is limited exclusively to the communications with this particular chassis. Thus, no chassis failure can bring down the entire network
