Inlet Technologies Exhibits This Week at NAB Post + Production Show and the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition; Leading Video Encoding Solutions Provider Supports Industry Events in US and Japan.

Building upon close ties with the US post production industry, Inlet will sponsor the NAB Post+ Production Show in New York City, while continuing its expansion on the international front at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE) in Japan. During these events, the company will demonstrate its flagship Fathom(TM) encoding solution for VC-1 and Windows Media Video (WMV), and its industry-first Quality Control software application, Semaphore(TM).

Continuing US Market Leadership

For the first time this year, the National Association of Broadcasters is conducting an event with specific focus on the professional film and video production and post-production communities. The event - NAB Post+ Production - will be held November 15 - 17 at the Javits Center in New York. It will showcase the latest content creation technologies while providing in-depth training for digital artists in cutting-edge production and post-production techniques.

Inlet underscores its commitment to the success of post production professionals by sponsoring the NAB Post + opening reception and running live technology demonstrations within its exhibit. In addition, Inlet's senior vice president of business development and strategy, John Bishop, will speak on the evolution of advanced encoding tools, explaining how advanced encoding formats facilitate the critical process of commercializing digital media. John Bishop's presentation will be held Wednesday, November 16th at 3:00 p.m. in the showcase theater.

At the Inlet exhibit, #111, NAB Post + conference attendees will see Inlet's latest product enhancements, in end-to-end encoding workflow demonstrations highlighting some of today's most relevant applications for next generation content management. These demo's will mirror real-life workflow scenarios, illustrating how Fathom's powerful hardware engine solves the challenge of producing high-quality media in less time. In addition, Inlet will demonstrate how its analytic tools enable greater control, providing video professionals with the finesse needed to deliver superior quality in applications such as HD DVD, Blu-Ray, video-on-demand, IPTV and digital signage.

Building International Momentum

Implementing an overarching strategy for global expansion, Inlet has participated in several international industry events this year, including the 2005 IBC in Amsterdam, SATIS in Paris (with partner AV2P) and CAPER in Argentina (with partner Megaservice). Fathom's global significance as a delivery tool for next-generation film and video content is gaining recognition, and Inlet has recently shipped units to a number of international customers including a leading European broadcasting company and post production facilities in Paris, Prague and China.

As Inlet continues to expand its presence outside of the US, it has identified Asia as a key market for advanced digital media, based on Asia's pervasive broadband access, focus on HD programming and tradition of technology innovation. Inlet will exhibit at Japan's InterBEE '05 in cooperation with their Japanese partner, EVC. InterBEE is a showcase for the newest technologies and emerging trends in broadcasting, and is a focal point for Asia's video industry forerunners and decision makers. The show will be held at Makuhari Messe from November 16th through the 18th. Inlet will be featured with EVC in the Hoei Sangyo booth #8301, in Hall 8.
