Initiative, a media services company, hired Michael Hayes as vice president, interactive marketing for its Los Angeles office. Formerly, Hayes was head of the media services and strategic planning group at 10th Degree, a direct response and interactive agency serving firms that include Mitsubishi Motors and the Orange County Register.
