Ingram Micro Distributes INTERSHOP Products.


SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 27, 1997--INTERSHOP Communications, a leading provider of electronic commerce software, has announced the signing of an agreement with Ingram Micro Ingram Micro, Inc. NYSE: IM a Fortune 100 company founded in 1979 and based in Santa Ana, California. It is the world’s largest technology distributor and a leading technology sales, marketing and logistics company.  Inc., the world's largest wholesale distributor of technology products and services.

Effective immediately, Ingram Micro will distribute INTERSHOP eCommerce software in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

The distribution agreement compliments INTERSHOP's efforts to sign up solution providers, while it further strengthens the company's North American North American
