While the timing of technology alerts depends on news developments, the division hopes to publish at least four each year. * Technology bulletins are 8- to 10-page updates on existing information technologies that are either being enhanced or used more extensively. The division intends to publish at least two technology bulletins per year. * Practice aids are detailed reports 20 to 50 pages in length showing existing technologies can be applied to CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. practices. The division, which issued the Practice aid CPA Firm Technology Planning Guide in 1992, intends to issue at least one aid per year.
