Information Today, Inc. (ITI (Information Technology Industry Council, Washington, DC, www.itic.org) Formerly the Computer and Business Equipment Manufacturers Association (CBEMA), founded in 1916. ITI is a membership organization composed of approximately 30 large high-tech companies. ; Medford, NJ), the publisher of "Computers in Libraries" and "Information Today" magazines, among others, has acquired the assets of Amcomm Holdings, Inc. (Lexington, KY), the producer of the SpeechTek trade shows, "Speech Technology" magazine and related web properties. No terms of the deal, handled by Corporate Solutions, Inc. (Westport, CT), were given.

Launched in 1996, "Speech Technology" is published six times a year and focuses on the development, application and integration of speech technology for business and consumer applications. The magazine provides information on industry developments and focuses on productivity, advancements and future trends in the speech technology market. Articles range from new product highlights to successful product deployments to profiles of industry players, and include stories on such topics as: using speech for search, detecting emotions, building speech applications, the impact of speech technology on small businesses, language processing

Besides the above mentioned magazines, ITI titles include "Online," "CRM (Customer Relationship Management) An integrated information system that is used to plan, schedule and control the presales and postsales activities in an organization. ," "KMWorld," "Streaming Media" and "EContent."
