) today announced that Mark S. Parise, 39, has accepted a position as Division President of Database Services for Information Resources, Inc. (IRI Iri (ē`rē`), former city, North Jeolla (Cholla) prov., SW South Korea. An agricultural center and transportation hub, it was absorbed into Iksan. ). In a planned succession, which began in June, Parise replaces Philippe Chouvou who is returning to Europe following a successful two-year assignment as head of Database Services.

"Mark brings over 19 years of experience with three highly regarded business organizations. He has significant expertise in general management, operations, marketing, strategic planning, product development, and business development. All this experience includes significant management and leadership responsibilities. Mark is a major asset to the IRI leadership team," said Ed Kuehnle, President of IRI North America.

Prior to joining IRI, Parise worked for General Electric Capital in their Auto Finance Services Corporation were he served as the vice president of consumer operations, which included operations in the U.S., Canada, and India. Other positions Parise held within G.E. Capital included positions as general manager for the AFS A distributed file system for large, widely dispersed Unix and Windows networks from Transarc Corporation, now part of IBM. It is noted for its ease of administration and expandability and stems from Carnegie-Mellon's Andrew File System.

Prior to joining G.E. Capital, Parise worked for The Chase Manhattan Bank The Chase Manhattan Bank, now part of JPMorgan Chase, was formed by the merger of the Chase National Bank and the Bank of the Manhattan Company in 1955. The bank is headquartered in New York City.  in New York, NY and in Florida in a variety of assignments including senior marketing executive, and in strategic planning and operations assignments. Prior to Chase, Parise worked for the Mercantile Trust and Savings Bank.

Originally from Quincy, IL where he graduated from Quincy University with a B.S. in Management, Parise resides in Cary, IL with his wife and daughter.
