Infonet Services Corporation (NYSE:IN) (FSE:IN), a leading provider of global communications services for multinational corporations, today announced it is providing secure Internet Virtual Private Network (IVPN) services for eight wholly-owned subsidiaries of Information Builders, the leader in business intelligence solutions for real-time information delivery over the Web. Infonet was selected to assist the subsidiaries in Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom with managed access to Information Builders' accounting, customer support and purchasing systems, as well as the Internet and the company's private intranet.

In winning the business, Infonet responded to an extensive Request for Proposal and an evaluation that encompassed six months. Information Builders reviewed responses from four vendors for the international communications portion of its global business and evaluated both frame relay and ATM network designs.
