Infogrames Entertainment SA (Euronext 5257), today announced consolidated first quarter revenues of $75.0 million for the period ended September 30, 2000, an increase of 80% over the same period last year.

In Europe, revenues increased more than 16%. Although the European market is still being affected by a wait-and-see policy by consumers waiting for the next-generation systems, it has already begun a small correction. The improved performance of Infogrames in the European market is primarily due to its outstanding catalog of titles, such as Driver and Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time for PlayStation as well as V-Rally, which represented 72% of the turnover for the quarter compared to 65% for the previous year. This further supports Infogrames' continued growth despite market conditions.

In the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. With $38.3 in revenues for the first quarter, the US market represented more the 50% of the total revenues for the Group. With the completion of the restructuring of the US operations, the Group's successful quarter was a result of top-selling titles, such as Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time and Hogs War from Infogrames Europe, Test Drive 6 and Duck Dodgers For the animated television series, see .

Duck Dodgers is the fictional star of a series of cartoons produced by Warner Bros. He is actually the famous (but still fictional) cartoon star Daffy Duck, cast in the role of an intergalactic future "hero".
