Infogain Corporation, a major provider of innovative eBusiness connectivity, custom relationship management solutions, today announced it has named 17-year industry veteran Cindy Dowling to vice president of its Business Intelligence Practice. Reporting to Infogain's Chief Operating Officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Before joining Infogain, Dowling was the director of strategic partner sales at XML XML

Dowling has developed and implemented several significant data warehouse solutions including the MCI (1) (Media Control Interface) A high-level programming interface from Microsoft and IBM for controlling multimedia devices. It provides commands and functions to open, play and close the device.

Dowling has also managed Information Systems and Services at Goergetown College and was a member of the University of Kentucky's adjunct faculty in the Department of Information Sciences. She holds a bachelor's degree in Information Systems from Georgetown College and is the author of several Informix technical training manuals and publications, including Relational Database Design, Building a Data Warehouse, Developing Enterprise Architechtures and Informix Extended Parallel Server Performance Tuning.
