Software package sales increased 111 percent, and total sales increased by 46 percent over the prior year, reaching $1,145,178 for the quarter, up from $783,959 last year. Expenses during this period were $1,163,491, producing a loss of $18,313 compared to a profit of $53,578 the previous year. Expenses include all the operating costs of Infocorp's Canadian, American and European operations that were acquired during last year and the first quarter of this year. Loss per share was $0.001 to October 31, 1996 compared to earnings of $0.005 at October 31, 1995. Traditionally, Infocorp's first quarter is the weekest sales quarter. Management's outlook for continued revenue growth and profitability for the coming quarters is very positive. DIRECTOR RESIGNS Roy A. Grant, Infocorp's Senior Vice President , Corporate Marketing, resigned from the Board of Directors to ensure a better balance between the number of inside and outside directors on the Board. The Board now consists of three inside directors and three outside directors.
