Info on I&T's rotating departments.

The new "Dealers Wanted" department is specifically for equipment, aftermarket parts and supplies being offered to North American dealers for retail sales. Any wholesale-retail arrangements are strictly between the dealer and the contact listed with the product.

Our "Maintenance and Repair" department now features equipment, aftermarket parts and supplies for use in the dealer's shop.

Equipment descriptions and photos in "Product Review" give dealers a chance to see what their competitors are selling. We publish information about all brands of equipment, particularly new product models, new designs, new features or new technology.

"Research & Technology" includes information for dealers about equipment use and farming techniques, some of which could affect grower purchases of existing or future equipment. The more informed a dealer is about his customers, the more he is able to meet those customers' needs.

* During a fall trip to Wellington, Ohio, my visit to the Wellington Implement led to the dealer feature in this issue of I&T. This Case IH dealership has a four-generation history and a large, modern facility that was many years in the planning.

* When I got a special invitation from Rodney Miller, CEO of Montana Tractors, to attend the company's first national dealers' convention and awards banquet in Springdale, Arkansas, I didn't pass up the opportunity to see what this company is really about.

I found a committed corporate team, many of whom have long histories and past careers in the tractor industry, who truly believe in the future of Montana products and its dealer network. I found both traditional and non-traditional dealers who told me they are proud to provide reliable, economic equipment and good service to their customers.
