) - Online market researcher Info Plant has released the results of a survey on mobile phone games. The company conducted the survey of 8,984 i-mode users in Japan from November November: see month.  15 through 22.

When asked about how often they play games using mobile phones, 38.4% of the respondents In the context of marketing research, a representative sample drawn from a larger population of people from whom information is collected and used to develop or confirm marketing strategy.  answered, "almost everyday", followed by "about a couple of days a week" (19.3%) and "about one day a week" (12.3%). This translates into 70% of them playing games at least a day per week. More than 80% of the men aged 19 or younger said they play games at least a day per week.

When asked about how they get games, 69.4% replied "from free sites", followed by "embedded Inserted into. See embedded system.  games" (42.3%), and "from paid sites" (42.0%). By age and sex, the most frequent users of free sites were men and women aged 19 or younger (79.3% and 79.0%, respectively). Also, 51.6% of the men in their 20s answered they pay to play games. Among those "everyday" players, 57.4% said they use the paid service.

When asked about how many times they downloaded games for the last three months, 23.7% answered "five times or more", followed by "once" (17.9%), "twice" (17.2%), and "three times" (16.0%). In total, 79.5% have downloaded games at least once. On the other hand, 20.5% replied they did not download To receive a file transmitted over a network. In any communications session, "download" means receive, and "upload" means send. The download/upload often implies a big/little scenario, in which data is being downloaded from the "big" server into the "little" user's computer. . Of the men aged 19 or younger, 57.1% answered they downloaded five times or more, and over 90% of them downloaded at least once.
