) - Online market research Info Plant has announced the results of a survey on dining out Dining Out is one of the many traditions held by the military today. The company conducted the survey of 5,926 i-mode users (32.8% men, 67.2% women) in Japan from June 6 to 13.

When asked how they get information on restaurants and places to eat, 35.9% mentioned word of mouth and 20.5% cited free magazines.

Further, when choosing restaurants and shops to go, most consider price, menus and locations important. When asked how much is too much to pay for dining out, 35.2% answered 3,000-4,999 yen, followed by 1,000-2,999 yen (22.9%) and 5,000-6,999 yen (22.0%).
