LONDON -- InferMed, a leading provider of advanced software solutions for clinical research and practice, has appointed Duane S. Lawrence as its Chief Executive Officer.

Mr Lawrence joins InferMed from MISYS Healthcare Systems International, where he held the role of General Manager from 2003. In this role he was responsible for all aspects of MISYS Healthcare operations outside North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. , researching and opening new international markets across Europe as well as the Middle East and Asia.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Lawrence said: "I am very pleased to be joining the InferMed team at this important time in their development.
