Infection prevention toolkit.


The "Protect Our Patients" Visitor Education Toolkit is available from the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology epidemiology, field of medicine concerned with the study of epidemics, outbreaks of disease that affect large numbers of people. Epidemiologists, using sophisticated statistical analyses, field investigations, and complex laboratory techniques, investigate the cause  (APIC (Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller) A circuit that handles the priority of interrupts in a computer. Designed to support symmetric multiprocessing (SMP), the APIC handles more interrupts and is more flexible than the programmable interrupt controller ), through a health education grant from The Clorox Company. The toolkit aims to educate healthcare facility visitors of their role in Infection prevention. It consists of posters, tabletop tent tent, portable shelter of canvas, skins, felt, matting, or other material usually supported by poles and used chiefly by nomads, hunters, and campers. Tents have been used by pastoral peoples since ancient times and are mentioned in the Old Testament and in Homer.  cards, and education brochures, each designed to complement the others and reinforce the basic infection prevention message. The poster and tabletop tent cards display WE CARE visitor guidelines--each letter stands for an important step in stopping infection. Also included is a "Protect Our Patients" (POP) quiz A quiz is a form of game or mind sport in which the players (as individuals or in teams) attempt to answer questions correctly. Quizzes are also brief assessments used in education and similar fields to measure growth in knowledge, abilities, and/or skills. .
