Inequality for veterans' widows.I just wanted to write a note to thank the DAV See WebDAV. for all the good work you do, and for helping me with my VA claim, which was successful. However, I have a concern I must voice. Widows of veterans who remarry remarry Verb [-ries, -rying, -ried] to marry again following a divorce or the death of one's previous spouse remarriage n Verb 1. at or after age 57 are entitled en·ti·tle tr.v. en·ti·tled, en·ti·tling, en·ti·tles 1. To give a name or title to. 2. To furnish with a right or claim to something: to receive dependency and indemnity compensation benefits. It seems unfair that widows who remarried before age 57 are not entitled to regain their DIC DIC diffuse intravascular coagulation; disseminated intravascular coagulation. DIC abbr. disseminated intravascular coagulation Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) benefits. I would think elderly remarried widows way past the age of 57 should have been included in having DIC benefits reinstated. I realize it would take a new law to change this unjust situation. Marie F.
