Northrop Grumman Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) is an aerospace and defense conglomerate that is the result of the 1994 purchase of Grumman by Northrop. The company is the third largest defense contractor for the U.S.  Corporation's board of directors has elected Ronald D. Sugar--the current company's president and chief operating officer--as Northrop Grumman's next chief executive officer. L-3 Communications, Security and Detection Systems has appointed David Waters as vice president of cargo operations, in Woburn, Mass.

Stewart & Stevenson has appointed Ted M. McQuinn as managing director of Stewart & Stevenson Tactical Vehicle Systems, in the United Kingdom. Previously, McQuinn was vice president of quality for Stewart & Stevenson's Tactical Vehicle Systems division, in Sealy, Texas.

Forecast International/DMS, in Newtown, Conn., has named Douglas Nebinger as its new president. Nebinger is a long-time partner who has served as the company's executive vice president since 1992.

 International Inc. has recruited retired Maj. Gen. Warren C. Edwards as director of its U.S. Army Forces Command Operations organization in Atlanta. Edwards will oversee the expansion of CACI's business with FORSCOM FORSCOM United States Army Forces Command . Previously, Edwards was deputy commanding general of the Third U.S. Army.

CMC Electronics Inc., in Montreal, has appointed Mario Larose as vice president of the company's custom-electronics b unit. The position is a new one, established to strengthen the firm's electronics components business, a spokesman said.

BAE Systems North America has named Richard Ashooh as vice president of legislative affairs. Ashooh will manage the company's government relations at all levels, federal, state and local.
