Smith III to the post of Senior Vice President for Corporate Development. Mr. Smith will report directly to Shawn M. Marcell, President and Chief Executive Officer of SensiGen.

Mr. Smith brings to SensiGen more than 25 years experience in developing business and product strategies for major global pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical products companies. "George's extensive strategic planning and product commercialization experience across all aspects of the Life Sciences industry will be of great value as we bring our products to market in the coming months," comments Mr. Marcell. "We are thrilled to have him join us."

Most recently, Mr. Smith was a senior executive at Philadelphia's University City Science Center ("Science Center") where he was responsible for helping start-up companies develop business plans and product commercialization strategies. He will continue to act as an advisor to the Science Center and its portfolio companies on a part-time basis.
