Central Florida is the central region of the United States state of Florida, on the East Coast. Machine Trades Apprenticeship Program. The program provides training for journeyman licensing in trades such as tool and die making, mold making, precision machining and machine building and repair. Faced with the industry-wide labor crunch, Hudson Tool & Die took a proactive step and launched the program with DBCC in 1998. Hudson staffers developed workbooks for each skill and the curriculum is taught by DBCC. Currently, the program has 41 apprentices placed in 20 participating companies. It will be a proud day indeed for Hudson and its partners when the program's first class graduates in June 2002.
