Company Expects Doubling of Capacity with New Facility,

Needed to Meet Current Demand

:IDUL), a leading manufacturer and distributor of communications-related technology and lithium batteries Lithium batteries are primary batteries that have lithium metal or lithium compounds as an anode. Depending on the design and chemical compounds used lithium cells can produce voltages from 1.5V to about 3V, twice the voltage of an ordinary zinc-carbon battery or alkaline cell.  in China, today announced that it has received nearly 14 acres of public land, through a government land grant, enabling the Company to move ahead with an expansion of its battery production in the face of rising customer demand. The Company noted that the new manufacturing facility is expected to be on line during the third quarter of 2004.

The land was granted to INDI's wholly owned subsidiary Wholly Owned Subsidiary

They are currently one of the most popular types of battery for portable electronics, with one of the best energy-to-weight ratios, no  as well as an enterprise of China's State Torch Plan, an initiative that aims to promote the growth of the nation's most promising high-tech companies. The Company said it would immediately begin construction on a new facility to double production, thereby closing the gap between its current under-capacity and the market demand for its lithium and Li-Ion batteries.

Dr. Kit Tsui, Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Industries International, commented, "We are very excited that the local government has granted us this land for our immediate expansion plan. Due to our technological superiority and an extremely successful growth strategy, sales at Li Sun Power rose to $9.2 million in 2002, nearly double the figure for 2001, and have continued to grow rapidly in 2003. Client orders have now risen to the point at which our existing facilities, including the newly launched Shenzhen plant, are at full capacity and still cannot keep up. This grant of land both recognizes the rapid acceptance of Li Sun products and, of course, gives the Company the means to stay on the fast growth track by meeting our customers' needs."

The Company currently produces 20 million lithium-ion batteries per year, which Dr. Tsui estimates is only 60% of current demand. Due to facility limitations, Dr. Tsui said, INDI has often had to pass on customer orders because of inability to fill them. Dr. Tsui concluded, "Our first-stage of construction is aimed at doubling our current output capacity, with a focus on enhancing our Lithium-ion battery production. At the same time, we will be preparing for other new products for which we see major market opportunities."
