SHENZHEN, China & LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 20, 2004

Industries International, Inc. (INDI INDI Irish Nutrition & Dietetic Institute

See OTC Bulletin Board (OTCBB).
:IDUL), a leading manufacturer and distributor of communications-related technology and lithium batteries in China, today announced that it has received the exclusive right in China to produce the country's first button-type lithium-ion battery Lithium-ion batteries (sometimes abbreviated Li-ion batteries) are a type of rechargeable battery commonly used in consumer electronics. They are currently one of the most popular types of battery for portable electronics, with one of the best energy-to-weight ratios, no .

The battery will be produced by INDI's wholly-owned subsidiary, Li Sun Power, one of China's leading battery manufacturers. The Company has obtained a state patent for the new product and will be the only Chinese firm authorized to manufacture this type of battery during the patent period.

The button type Li-ion battery is a rechargeable mini-battery required for the operation of numerous new telecom products, including wireless mice, portable GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) The first high-speed digital data service provided by cellular carriers that used the GSM technology. GPRS added a packet-switched channel to GSM, which uses dedicated, circuit-switched channels for voice conversations.  systems and, particularly, Bluetooth earphones. Based on performance stability and cost, INDI's new product is expected to be an ideal replacement upgrade for batteries using the Lithium Polymer A rechargeable battery technology introduced in the late 1990s that stores less energy per pound than lithium ion, but is more flexible. Lithium polymer uses a gelatinous electrolyte rather than liquid.  technology in terms of performance stability and cost.

Dr. Kit Tsui, Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of INDI, said, "We believe the rapid growth of such digital products as the wireless mouse and Bluetooth earphones will generate a substantial market for rechargeable button-type batteries. In terms of technology and cost, Li-ion button type batteries outperform most similar products on the market today."

Dr. Tsui continued, "We are very glad that our Li-ion button has been granted a State patent, which gives us the sole authority to produce such a product in China. In fact, we believe that Li Sun is the only manufacturer in the world that is capable of batch production Batch production is a manufacturing process used to produce or process any product in batches, as opposed to a continuous production process, or a one-off production. The primary characeristic of batch production is that all components are completed at a workstation before they  of Li-ion button type batteries."

Recently, INDI representatives attending the Las Vegas Las Vegas (läs vā`gəs), city (1990 pop. 258,295), seat of Clark co., S Nev.; inc. 1911. It is the largest city in Nevada and the center of one of the fastest-growing urban areas in the United States.  International Electronic Products Exhibition in the U.S. with sample Li-ion button type batteries reported high interest in the new product from both old and new clients. "We are very confidently expecting for a significant contribution from this product in the near future," Dr. Tsui said.
