Indus Convenes Annual Nuclear Leadership Council to Advance Collaboration in Nuclear Asset Management; Industry Leaders Discuss Improving Business Processes and New Plant Construction.

ATLANTA -- Indus International Inc. Over the next two days, nearly two dozen of the nuclear industry's asset manager leaders will discuss nuclear industry business drivers and identify strategies that leverage Indus solutions to support their corporate growth and operational excellence goals.

For the six months ended June 30, 2006, OPG increased its net income to $342 million compared to $25 million for the same period last year. The company credited the increase due to the favorable impact of an increase in gross margin from electricity sales primarily due to higher nuclear generation compared to the same period in 2005.

--Paks NPP Streamlines Business Process on Indus. PAKS Nuclear Power Plant (Paks NPP) rolled out an Indus asset management solution to increase efficiency, improve reliability, reduce operations and maintenance costs, minimize maintenance, optimize inventory levels, ensure general safety and regulatory compliance and extend the lifecycle of the plant.

--Progress Energy Wins Edison Award. Progress Energy was presented the Edison Award from the Edison Electric Institute for the outstanding operation of the company's nuclear and fossil generating plants, which are supported by Indus work and asset management solutions.
