Indus Announces Addition of New C.F.O. Along with Other Organizational Appointments and Realignments.SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 30, 1996--The Indus Group (NASDAQ:IGRP IGRP - Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (Cisco Systems routing protocol)) announced today several organizational changes designed to position the firm for continued growth and expansion needed to further its mission of becoming the dominant supplier of information systems and services to the process industry. Leading the announcements, President and CEO, Robert W. Felton announced that Frank M. Siskowski had joined the firm as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Siskowski brings to INDUS over 26 years of experience in the financial arena, having started his career in 1970 with the international accounting firm of Coopers and Lybrand, then moving on in 1976 to PepsiCo, Inc. where he was subsequently promoted to Director of Accounting and Financial Reporting. In 1983, he was recruited by MCI Communications Corporation, which led to the Chief Financial Officer position of MCI Pacific Division in 1985. In 1991, VISA International recruited him away from MCI where he served as Senior Vice President and Controller until September 16, 1996 when he joins The Indus Group as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. In his announcement Felton said, "Frank has extensive experience in helping companies like PepsiCo, MCI and VISA grow very rapidly, with one of his major fortes being the business planning process. His first assignment at INDUS will be to assist us in planning for significant growth and to help put the financial infrastructure in place to support that growth -- including those initiatives needed to support the regionalization that has recently been introduced. Felton continued, "Frank is more than just a finance guy, he is a good business man and someone I look forward to working with closely as we take INDUS to its full potential." The regional organization Felton referred to is within The Indus Group's sales and services arena. The firm recently completed its domestic and international regionalization and announced the following personnel assignments: Andrew Dyer, Regional Vice President - Northeast Operations; Greg Mark, Regional Vice President - North Central Operations; Paul Lane, Regional Vice President - Northwest Operations; Len Berg, Regional Vice President - Southwest Operations; Mike Meeks, Regional Vice President - South Central Operations; and Ray Hallmark, Regional Vice President - Southeast Operations. In other operational announcements, Dean Parker was named Regional Vice President - Canadian Operations, while Kais Menoufy will remain as Vice President and Director of all other International Operations. Felton also stated that Charles Rosselle had resigned from the firm to pursue other interests. As previously announced, in order to ensure more focus on the enterprise solution provided by INDUS and its partners, Philip Mezey has been appointed as Vice President - Strategic Alliances. This led to the reassignment of John Redig to Vice President - Application Product Development, who, with Doug Piper, had completed the beta development of the new GUI introduced by INDUS - PORTAL/95. This process also allowed the realignment of the responsibilities of Rick Bill to Vice President - Quality & Customer Support. Felton continued, "These are exciting times for INDUS. As the firm grows to become a recognized leader in providing the worldwide process industry with enterprise solutions that bring great value, we will continue to evolve the organizational model to ensure our success. Our investment in company culture, which translates into a highly energized work environment, continues to attract individuals of the highest caliber who can leverage their individual talents and experience to help expand and promote the firm." The Indus Group develops, markets, and supports a proprietary line of enterprise management software and implementation services for process industry customers worldwide.
