Inductive precision sensor.
The 20mm-long IPS05/4608KS inductive sensor has a sensing distance
of 0.9mm [+ or -]10% for a mild steel target and 0.35mm sensing distance
for an aluminum target. There is excellent repeatability and hysterisis
of better than 1 micron. Electrical ratings are 5 VDC [+ or -]5% with
power consumption less than 10mA. Output current is 100mA with NPN
output logic, and the switch is normally open.
