Indosat MultiMedia Mobile in Live Operation Using Convergys' Geneva Software to Bill for GSM and GPRS Services.

Convergys Corporation (NYSE:CVG), the global leader in integrated billing and customer care services, today announced that its Geneva (TM) Active Revenue Management (ARM) software is now in live operation at Indosat MultiMedia Mobile (Indosat-M3), supporting the launch of Indosat-M3's new GSM and GPRS services. Convergys' alliance partner Logica performed the project management and implementation of the Geneva software.

Indosat-M3 is a mobile communication subsidiary of PT Indosat Thk, Indonesia's primary provider of international telecommunications services. Indosat-M3 was established in July 2001 to provide GSM 1800 mobile communication services to Indonesia. Geneva rates and bills all voice, data, and content services and was integrated by Logica into a comprehensive solution that includes Point Information Systems' e-point e-CRM and Comptel MDS mediation platform. Indosat-M3's GSM and GPRS services are scheduled for availability this month with other services to follow.

Indosat-M3's selected the Geneva software for its flexibility, support for innovation, rapid introduction of new products and services, its modular architecture, the ease with which it can be implemented and upgraded, and the low cost of day-to-day operations.
