Indocement plans to build new cement factory in Citeureup.
PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP INTP Introverted Intuitive Thinking Perceiving (Myers-Briggs personality type indicator) ), the country's
second largest cement cement, binding material used in construction and engineering, often called hydraulic cement, typically made by heating a mixture of limestone and clay until it almost fuses and then grinding it to a fine powder. producer, plans to build a new cement factory in
its complex in Citeureup, Bogor, with a production capacity of 4.4
million tons per year. The plan is to meet growing demand for cement in
the country. In addition, the company is studying plan to build two
other new cement factories in other places with an annual production
capacity of 2 million-2.5 million tons each. One of the factories is to
be built in Java and the other outside Java. Meanwhile, Indocement is
building a new cement mill A cement mill (or finish mill in North American usage[1]) is the equipment used to grind the hard, nodular clinker from the cement kiln into the fine grey powder that is cement. Most cement is currently ground in ball mills. with a capacity of 1.9 million tons per year
in Citeureup. Implementation of the projects would increase the
production capacity of Indocement to 20.6 million tons and in long term
it hopes to expand its capacity to 29 million-30 million tons in 2015.
