(September 12) Now It's Overhead, Dark Light Daybreak (Saddle Creek) A sometime member of Bright Eyes, out gay songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and recording engineer Andy LeMaster pulls the strings of this Athens, Ga., ensemble, which includes two members of Azure Ray. The group's third full-length bristles with subtle electronic touches. (September 12) Yo La Tengo, I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass (Matador) Featuring a piece for chamber orchestra, a full-on garage rock stomper, and a funky piano ditty sung in falsetto, New Jersey's finest continue to push the parameter of indie rock.
