Captiva Software Corp. (Nasdaq:CPTV), a leading provider of input management solutions, announced today that the Indiana Department of Revenue has selected FormWare(R), Captiva's award-winning information capture solution, as an integral part of a new tax form processing system to be implemented by Crowe Chizek and Co. LLC, a top 10 U.S. public accounting and consulting firm and leading provider of innovative business solutions.

The value of the contract to Captiva is approximately $300,000.

The Indiana Department of Revenue (INDOR) had several needs in a new tax processing system. Management desired to reduce its dependency on cumbersome paper handling, cut tax processing times, increase information accuracy, improve the security of taxpayer information, integrate data from various sources, add compliance analysis capabilities, and improve the availability and accessibility of information to its staff and state taxpayers. After evaluating numerous systems, INDOR selected a complete data capture and content management solution proposed by Crowe Chizek. The integrated image, data capture and workflow solution provided by Crowe Chizek and Captiva will process approximately three million tax returns and other documents each year for the Department.
