Indexing adjusts 2006 state income tax.


California's personal income tax brackets will be indexed at 4.8 percent this year, resulting in a decrease in state income taxes for some Californians. To view adjustments in the 2006 tax rate schedule, visit http://ftb.ca.gov/aboutFTB/press/2006/06_40.html.
