Inderscience Publishers starts "Int'l. J. of Nuclear Law".

Inderscience Publishers (Geneva), a producer of journals and treatises across a variety of fields, has begun the publication of the International Journal of Nuclear Law, a new quarterly title covering aspects of the legal framework applicable to nuclear energy and nuclear arms, and the international conventions which both preceded and promoted the harmonization of domestic legislation and regulations. An annual online subscription costs $450 for one user, $825 for 2-3 users and $920 for 4-5 users. One optional print subscription costs $95 plus the online rate.

The title is targeted to judges, lawyers, researchers, scholars, law firms, law libraries and government agencies. Inderscience said the journal is designed to provide a forum for analysis focusing on issues relating to nuclear law and regulations; promote studies of legal problems related to the peaceful utilization of nuclear energy and protection of the environment, and to contribute to the development of legislation governing the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Editorial covers such topics as international nuclear technology policy, regulation of technology, safety and regulation, licensing, inspection and enforcement, radiological protection, liability, waste management, terrorism and international law, deregulation, technology transfer and ethics.
