Q1 Labs, (www.q1labs.com), a leading network security management company, today announced that it was recognized for its vision and execution in The 451 Group's 2006 preview report on the enterprise security sector. The independent report credits Q1 Labs for "flat out proving" that NBAD and vulnerability management work very well as an integral part of a SEM product.

The report, titled "2006 preview - Enterprise security," provides an analysis of anticipated marketplace evolution and highlights key companies that will have a disruptive influence on marketplace dynamics. In the report, 451 analysts said that they believe the New Year will see increased maturation of the ESIM esim - A language for simulation of VLSI at the switch level. The primitives are nodes and transistors.

and SEM spaces, as the players more effectively leverage their ability to display network events in addition to security incidents. The report recognized Q1 Labs as a company in the middle of network monitoring The term network monitoring describes the use of a system that constantly monitors a computer network for slow or failing systems and that notifies the network administrator in case of outages via email, pager or other alarms.  and security convergence Security convergence is a term that refers to the convergence of two historically disparate security functions -- namely physical security and information security -- within enterprises. . The report said that 2006 "will see more comprehensive products that approach security in a holistic, as opposed to piecemeal, fashion." This comment appeared in an independent report, titled "2006 preview - Enterprise security," which was published on December 20, 2005 (see Editor's Note Editor's Note (foaled in 1993 in Kentucky) is an American thoroughbred Stallion racehorse.
