IndX Expands European Distribution; Added Staff and New Partners Boost Campaign in Europe.

IndX Software Corp., a leading developer of Web-based decision support systems for manufacturing, Tuesday announced a significant expansion into the European marketplace with the signing of four new partners and two new regional managers.

Joining as partners are in-GmbH, Holland Automation, Automation Products and Rex Software, while Chris Davis and Massimo Radice have been appointed regional managers to expand IndX support to the European channel.

in-GmbH, with 10 years of consulting, concept development and implementation in the area of software solutions and products, will represent IndX in Germany and Austria. The Konstanz, Germany-based company meets customers' demands by creating solutions and individual applications with open technologies.

Involved both in ERP and MES systems, as well as factory floor automation, in-GmbH is experienced in developing connectors to SAP systems and has also developed an MMI (man-machine interface) for OEM applications.

Holland Automation International BV, of Dordrecht, The Netherlands, will provide additional representation for IndX in the Benelux region. An ERP-level company that sells its own financial solution as well as a local ERP product, Holland Automation will complement the activities of Telerex, which already represents IndX in this region.

In the United Kingdom, IndX has signed Automation Products of Coleshill, Birmingham, a best-of-breed product distributor and service provider that handles Citect and OSI products. The company will focus primarily on the factory floor market, while existing IndX distributor in the United Kingdom, Minerva Industrial Systems, will focus on the enterprise market.

Also in the United Kingdom, IndX has signed Rex Software of Eastleigh, Southampton. Rex specializes in the development and exploitation of manufacturing information systems within the oil and petrochemical industry.

The company operates primarily within the European region and also takes on projects in other geographies. They will concentrate on the oil and petrochemicals vertical market and have been granted the right to sell XHQ globally within this sector.

New regional manager Chris Davis comes to IndX from Minerva Industrial Systems, an IndX partner that supplies manufacturing and distribution software. Davis joined Minerva at its launch in 1986 and held several high-level management positions, most recently as technical director and member of the board.

Also appointed regional manager, Massimo Radice over the last 12 years has worked in sales, project management and engineering for Wonderware Italia, OBSA, USDATA and Ramsey, all of which market software packages dedicated to the supervision and control of industrial and civil processes. Prior to that he served as software engineer for Carl Zeiss and for a subsidiary of General Electric.

With different backgrounds and complementary skills, Radice and Davis enhance IndX's ability to unify business practices "from the top floor to the shop floor." From their bases in the United Kingdom and Italy, the two new managers expand IndX's support for channel partners on broadly geographical lines.
