Also in the United Kingdom, IndX has signed Rex Software of Eastleigh, Southampton. Rex specializes in the development and exploitation of manufacturing information systems within the oil and petrochemical industry. The company operates primarily within the European region and also takes on projects in other geographies. They will concentrate on the oil and petrochemicals vertical market and have been granted the right to sell XHQ globally within this sector. New regional manager Chris Davis comes to IndX from Minerva Industrial Systems, an IndX partner that supplies manufacturing and distribution software. Davis joined Minerva at its launch in 1986 and held several high-level management positions, most recently as technical director and member of the board.
