 hardware-based customers as well as new support for Linux customers. HASP HL now features upgraded "envelope" security. The strongest protection tool available within HASP HL, the enhanced envelope offers a higher level of security while still protecting applications by "wrapping" it in a highly protected shell. By binding software to the HASP HL key using this latest technology, software publishers gain strongest anti-piracy protection.

HASP4 has expanded its Linux support (SUSE, Redhat), enabling software developers to protect their native 64-bit software for Linux. Specifically, this includes support for Linux 64-bit running on 64-bit extended systems such as AMD (Advanced Micro Devices, Inc., Sunnyvale, CA, www.amd.com) A major manufacturer of semiconductor devices including x86-compatible CPUs, embedded processors, flash memories, programmable logic devices and networking chips.  Opteron, Athion 64 or Intel processors with Intel EM64T (Extended Memory 64 Technology) The first name of Intel's 64-bit x86 CPUs. In 2006, the name of the technology was changed to "Intel 64." See Intel 64.  technology.

The new Linux 64-bit support is accompanied by a new HASP HL License Manager for Linux, enabling system administrators to run and manage HASP-protected software in network environments, and connect HASP HL Net keys to Linux machines. www.eAladdin.co.uk
