Incoming president of SMA.The Southern Medical Association will install Dr. Jean Edwards Holt as President during the 95th Annual Scientific Assembly in November in Nashville, Tennessee. A native of Lamar, Missouri, Dr. Holt earned a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Missouri--Columbia in 1968. She also received her MD degree and did her ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri--Columbia.
