[ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] Mr. Smith joined Inco after earning an Applied Science Degree at Acadia University Acadia University, at Wolfville, N.S., Canada; founded 1838; became Acadia Univ. 1891. It has faculties of arts, pure and applied sciences, management and education, and theology. Acadia Divinity College is associated with the university. in 1969 and a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering Degree at the Technical University of Nova Scotia The Technical University of Nova Scotia (formerly the Nova Scotia Technical College) was a university in Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada until it became part of Dalhousie University in 1997. In the early 1900s, at the request of the province of Nova Scotia, Dr. in 1971. During his career at Inco, Mr. Smith held numerous roles of increasing responsibility including Supervisor of Office Services in 1976, Superintendent of Safety & Administration in the Copper Cliff Smelter in 1981, Superintendent of Transportation Operations in 1986, Manager of Transportation and Traffic in 1991 and Manager Purchasing, Warehousing and Traffic in 1994, a role he held until 2000. Over the last five years, he has been an integral member on Inco's Global Procurement Team. In his new role, Mr. Smith will be responsible for the logistics activities relating to relating to relate prep → concernant relating to relate prep → bezüglich +gen, mit Bezug auf +acc the movement of Voisey's Bay concentrate from the Port in Quebec to Sudbury and Thompson Operations as well as the Traffic Department in the Ontario Operations. He will continue his work in the area of Global Procurement, Capital Procurement and Inco's Health Care Charter. |
