Incentive giving campaign winners.Congratulations to the North Dakota Music Teachers Association (NDMTA NDMTA North Dakota Music Teachers Association ), Mississippi Music Teachers Association (MMTA MMTA MultiMedia Telecommunications Association MMTA Minor Metals Trade Association MMTA Missouri Music Teachers Association MMTA Minnesota Music Teachers Association MMTA Massachusetts Music Teachers Association MMTA Michigan Music Teacher's Association ), and the California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT CAPMT California Association of Professional Music Teachers ) for winning the MTNA MTNA Music Teachers National Association MTNA Middle Tennessee Nursery Association (McMinnville, Tennessee) FOUNDATION FUND State Incentive Giving Campaign. The campaign is based on individual members giving to the FOUNDATION FUND during the preceding calendar year. Categories 1 and 2 are based on the percentage of members contributing. NDMTA won Category 1, with the highest percentage of members making a gift: 20.25 percent of the members contributed during 2005. In Category 2, 10.36 percent of MMTA members made a donation of $25 or more. Categories 3 and 4 are based on dollar amount contributed. In Category 3, CAPMT members gave $8,657 to the general fund. In Category 4, CAPMT members contributed $8,982 to the general fund and endowment funds Endowment funds Investment funds established for the support of institutions such as colleges, private schools, museums, hospitals, and foundations. The investment income may be used for the operation of the institution and for capital expenditures. combined. State associations rounding out the top five in each category are Nebraska, Maine, Oklahoma and Mississippi (Category 1); Maine, Arkansas, Nebraska and Alaska (Category 2); Texas, Ohio, Virginia and Washington (Category 3); and Nebraska, Texas Washington and Pennsylvania (Category 4).
