In-Stat/MDR Appoints New Director of Wireless Research.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 21, 2003

High-tech market research firm, In-Stat/MDR (http://www.instat.com), announces the appointment of Clint Wheelock to the position of director of wireless research. In this position, Wheelock will manage In-Stat/MDR's coverage of wireless markets, including service providers, wireless data, mobile devices, wireless infrastructure and wireless components.

Prior to joining In-Stat/MDR, Wheelock was director of product management at Qwest Wireless Owned by Qwest Communications, Qwest Wireless LLC is its cellular phone service offered in the United States. Qwest Wireless is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) that operates on Sprint PCS's CDMA network. , with general manager responsibilities for all of the company's consumer and business mobile wireless product lines, including access plans, subscriber equipment, voice calling features and mobile data features.
