In your dreams boys... MEN FANTASISE ABOUT HAVING SEX WITH CAROL VORDERMAN DURING COUNTDOWN.
A POLL has revealed men fantasise about sex romps with Countdown's Carol Vorderman - LIVE on the show.
Vorderman, 44, was named as one of the celebrities men would love to have sex with after 18,000 people were quizzed in one of the biggest TV sex surveys for a Channel Five documentary.
A top psychotherapist who carried out the study for the show found men want more than a consonant or vowel from the curvy star.
Vorderman is just one of a string of bizarre fantasies uncovered in the show, which also revealed some people dream of romping with flamboyant Lawrence Llewelyn-Bowen while the Changing Rooms star is dressed as a vampire.
Expert Brett Kahr uses data from the interviews along with clinical files from people talking about their sexual desires in the hour-long programme.
Kahr claimed that fantasies about celebrities such as David Beckham, Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue and Angelina Jolie are good for people.
The study found that blokes fantasise about sex more than women, young people more than older people and that women with children were least likely to think about sex.
It revealed that 59 per cent of people questioned dream about bondage sessions despite the fact few act out these thoughts in reality.
It found the most popular star women wanted to have sex with was singer Robbie Williams, while men wanted to romp with Aussie singer Kylie.
Disturbingly, some people admitted they dream of having sex with a huge dog. While some gay people told how they fantasise about marrying Prince William and becoming Queen of England.
Kahr, who is one of the UK's leading mental health experts, claimed that sexual secrets are a way of dealing with disturbing childhood experiences.
He claimed the dreams aim to turn negative events which we have been powerless to control into pleasurable ones which we can command.
Kahr said: "I was surprised. I thought we'd have much more repressive-type data but people are having a lot of sex.
"What may shock the general public is that we are fantasists. The frequency of fantasies, the infidelity quotient in them and how distressed people still are by their fantasies.
"Forty-six per cent of people are ashamed by them.
"There's still an enormous amount of shame and guilty attached both to the content of our fantasies and even the fact that we have them at all.
"There's still a trace of Victorian prudery about our sexuality.
"If they are so important, why have fantasies been ignored by researchers?
"If we study them we're forced to confront our own private sexual fantasies.
"Many researchers shy away because of this and it is awkward knowing you prefer Britney Spears to your wife and think of Britney while having sex with her. It's a very difficult concept to deal with - psychic infidelity is rampant.
"For many, fantasies are better than reality.
"For many, fantasies are their only outlet. And their fantasies are more rewarding than physical contact with their partner."
Britain's Sexual Fantasies starts Monday, September 5 at 11.05pm.
