In the bleak midwinter.


IT SNOWED YESTERDAY AND WILL AGAIN TOMORROW. But not now. The night is cold; the sky, clear. Guided by the Big Dipper, we walk to the edge of a forest where we stand, awed by the sight and witness of nature's grand cathedral. Its timber spires reach toward heaven. Its moon rose window transforms the scene with light reflected from the sun. Its arched doorways beckon beck·on
