In the affirmative.The most compelling article in your recent issue is "Taking Affirmative Action affirmative action, in the United States, programs to overcome the effects of past societal discrimination by allocating jobs and resources to members of specific groups, such as minorities and women. " [GenQ, January 30]. It was brief yet very thought-provoking. All affirmative action should be removed. What happened to getting into school or getting a job based solely on your work ethic, grades, skills, talent, and knowledge? And thanks for the Kristanna Loken story--loved it! Let's hope Michelle Rodriguez comes out soon.
