 is a tried-and-true spiritual habit. It not only helps us remember to thank God for all of the many gifts we've been given, but it can be an antidote antidote

Remedy to counteract the effects of a poison or toxin. Administered by mouth, intravenously, or sometimes on the skin, it may work by directly neutralizing the poison; causing an opposite effect in the body; binding to the poison to prevent its absorption,
 to pessimism pessimism, philosophical opinion or doctrine that evil predominates over good; the opposite of optimism. Systematic forms of pessimism may be found in philosophy and religion.  when you're having a particularly bad day.

One way to remember to offer God a daily "thank you" is by writing down the things you are grateful for each day in a gratitude journal. Perhaps you could pencil your list into your day planner or plug it into your Palm Pilot. There's even an online gratitude journal at www.simpleabundance.com.
