Description

Pulmonary fibrosis develops when the alveoli, tiny air sacs that transfer oxygen to the blood, become damaged and inflamed.
 on December 18, 2004, in Gainesville, Florida Gainesville is the largest city and county seat of Alachua County, Florida.GR6 Gainesville is home to the University of Florida, the largest university of the State University System of Florida and the third-largest university in the United States. .

Jeanette had been in the field of dentistry over 45 years. She began her career as an on-the-job trained chairside dental assistant in the early 1960s and later branched out into dental practice management.  she sought out advanced dental assisting education and became a Certified Dental Assistant certified dental assistant (CDA),
n a person who has completed the Certification Board of the American Dental Assistant Association (ADAA).
. In the early 1980s after approximately 20 years of dental assisting experience, she began a teaching career at Robert Morgan Education Center (then Robert Morgan Vocational Technical Institute) while earning advance degrees in education and leadership. In 1988 she was assigned the task of establishing and coordinating a dental clinic at Robert Morgan Education Center, which opened in 1990 and continues to provide patient care to the underserved in Dade County. She eventually advanced to the position of Instructional Supervisor over Health Sciences in the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, from which she retired.

Jeanette was a life member of the ADAA ADAA Anxiety Disorders Association of America
ADAA American Dental Assistants Association
ADAA Art Dealers Association of America (since 1962; New York City, NY, USA)
ADAA Aberdeen and District Angling Association
, Past President of the Dade County Dental Assistants Society, Past President of the Florida Dental Assistants Association, and ADAA 5th District Trustee for the period of 1999-2000. She leaves behind her husband, Larry, and three children: Larry, Suzanne, and Marc. She will be greatly missed by all.
