In memoriam.The National Apartment Association (NAA NAA Nomina Anatomica Avium. ) and the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD AAGD Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (Dallas, TX) ) mourn the loss of AAGD Past President Hal Ramsey. Ramsey was born Feb. 24, 1946, in Bronxville, N.Y., and passed away on March 2, 2002. Ramsey was a friend, mentor and confidant to all who knew him and his friends were numerous. He served as President of AAGD for the 1999-2000 year. Ramsey served as Chairperson for several AAGD committees, including AAGD's Community Service Committee and AAGD's Membership Committee. Most recently, Ramsey was especially interested in promoting AAGD's relationship with the Lone Star Camp Lone Star Camp is a hunting and working ranch camp in Tilden, Texas, owned by the Franklin Family. History This hunting camp was first established as Franklin Ranch in 1868 and has been family-owned and operated since then. Fire Council, and in establishing Camp Fire Kid's Clubs on AAGD member properties. Ramsey was active in the Texas Apartment Association and NAA. Ramsey held a Bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma University of Oklahoma, abbreviated OU, is a coeducational public research university located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. Founded in 1890, it existed in Oklahoma Territory near Indian Territory 17 years before the two became the state of Oklahoma. and a Master's degree from the University of Dallas The University of Dallas is a Catholic institution. It seeks to educate its students to develop the intellectual and moral virtues, to prepare themselves for life and work, and to become leaders in the community. . Funeral services were held on March 6, 2002, at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Dallas. |
