Western Michigan, also known as West Michigan, is a region of the U.S. state of Michigan.
 Chapter, died on February 7, 2006, after battling cancer for several months. Mr. Sammut graduated from the Detroit College of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in Business and from Walsh College of Accountancy with a Masters of Science in Taxation. During his career, he worked for the IRS An abbreviation for the Internal Revenue Service, a federal agency charged with the responsibility of administering and enforcing internal revenue laws.  as a Revenue Agent and most recently for Whirlpool Corporation as Manager of Federal Taxes. Mr. Sammut is remembered by his colleagues and friends for his professionalism, kindness, and generosity.

PAUL DE WINTER, a member of TEI since 1988 and former president of the Toronto Chapter, died on March 15, 2006. Mr. De Winter received a bachelor's degree and Master of Arts Master of Arts

During his career, Mr. De Winter also worked for the Ontario Ministry of Revenue as director of sales tax sales tax, levy on the sale of goods or services, generally calculated as a percentage of the selling price, and sometimes called a purchase tax. It is usually collected in the form of an extra charge by the retailer, who remits the tax to the government.  and as senior manager for legislation and information.
